Nautilus

I recently installed the Triton Nautilus2 3 MOA Red Dot Reflex MRDS on my Canik Mete MC9 Prime, and the fit and performance have been excellent. Because the optic uses a true RMSc footprint and is also compatible with 407K and 507K patterns, it mounted directly to the slide without any adapter plates. Installation was quick and simple, and the optic sits low and secure with no movement under recoil.One feature I really like is the integrated rear backup sights that are milled directly into the optic housing. This makes co‑witnessing very natural and helps with faster target reacquisition if needed. It’s a smart design that keeps the setup clean without adding extra components.The 3 MOA red dot is crisp and easy to pick up. It provides a great balance between precision and speed, making it suitable for defensive shooting, range training, or competition. The optic is also parallax‑free, which helps keep shots consistent even if the dot isn’t perfectly centered.Build quality feels very solid. The optic is CNC‑machined from 6061‑T6 aircraft‑grade aluminum, which keeps it lightweight but still durable and resistant to impacts. The multi‑coated lens provides a clear sight picture and helps reduce glare while maintaining visibility in bright sunlight, low light, or light rain.I also appreciate the Shake Awake feature, which automatically activates the optic when movement is detected. Combined with the 50,000‑hour battery life, it’s a very convenient system that helps conserve power and keeps the optic ready whenever the pistol is picked up.Overall, the Triton Nautilus2 3 MOA Red Dot Reflex MRDS pairs perfectly with my Canik Mete MC9 Prime. It offers great clarity, durable construction, and smart features, and considering the quality and performance, it also delivers excellent value for money compared to many much more expensive pistol optics.

Much smaller than I'd expected when I opened the box, but not a bad thing, quite the opposite. Both the mount and the housing itself are very well made, and come shipped with all the necessary hardware for mounting. The red dot has a very large range of brightness intensity, and is very easy to adjust on the fly with the 2 side mounted buttons. Not sure how long the battery will last but with so many different light levels it's probably heavily dependent on the user. Overall great little reflex sight, and a good price to match VS name brand optics.

Love this thing. Comes with a picatinny mount also so using with rifles or carbine. This is nice and compact and well made. Very solid build quality.Easy to adjust and the red dot is bright even in the day. This IS a shake awake sight. Best feature in years for optics I swear.Comes with tons of screws for mounting on various set ups.Works awesome and is easy to set up and use.

Sleek little micro dot. I was a little annoyed at first because I thought the tiny philips screws at the bottom were for the battery compartment. I hate bottom mounted batteries. But thankfully it's at the top, between the glass and emitter. The bottom screws are therefore for the electronics package.That said, even though I found the real compartment quickly, this does highlight a complaint of mine: the manual is lacking. It's just a tiny strip of paper that doesn't tell you much about the sight. Sure, the controls are simple and mostly intuitive, but only "mostly". I have a lot of pistol dots and they were either bottom mounted battery (yuck), or side trays. That's why I didn't think to look at the top first. I would also like to know more information that would be on a bigger manual, like battery life considerations.Other than that, this is basic and minimal, and therefore good enough because of the price point.The side to side parallax isn't bad. The up and down parallax is noticeable, but most other sights are like that. The build quality and materials are decent, and I haven't scratched it yet just by installing it. Window size is on the smaller side, but usable. The glass is clear. The dot itself is a little big (3 MOA) so it still looks circular and doesn't turn into a starburst with my astigmatism. The range of brightness is only okay. I couldn't dim it as much as I wanted, but it's more than bright enough on the other end.This has shake awake, which works. But the most important part to me is that you can actually turn it off. It will get jostled in storage, so I don't want unnecessary battery drain. I have a different offset dot with shake awake that drained itself ahead of schedule because I couldn't truly turn it off. This one does, so that gives me a sigh of relief.Instead of a pistol, I'm putting this on a rifle scope as a backup on a top offset mount. The 1913 mount it comes with is a little bulky. I should probably get a dedicated scope ring RMSc mount instead of using my normal scope ring 1913 rail mount because the compounded bulk is a bit ridiculous.I wouldn't prefer this for duty or EDC on my pistols, but nothing so far has made me think it would be bad at that. For now this is decent as an offset backup for high magnification rifle scope. Value pistol dots usually fail at the electronic package protection, but as an offset backup on a scope, this won't get hit with nearly the same amount of shock compared to being mounted on a reciprocating slide.

A very solidly made, compact Red Dot sight, with optional picatinny mount...This is a nice looking red dot sight. It has an extra thick shroud, that looks ruggedly built. The glass in the front is coated, so that should keep glare and reflections down.The red dot is fairly bright in full sunlight. It's only a single dot, which is not my favorite. I prefer a circle dot, or something similar. It has about 10 brightness settings from very dim to very bright. I don't believe it has a night vision setting.The picatinny mount is noticeably wider than the red dot sight. But that is because the sight is fairly small. The sight has shake awake, which is an added bonus. That way your battery doesn't run out and is always ready to go when you need it.I tried to get pictures of the actual illuminated red dot, but it's exceptionally hard to take pictures of it. The camera will not focus on it properly.Overall, this is a real solid red dot sight.Five stars out of five.

Had problems with my first one, arrived with dead battery and upon replacing i couldnt get the battery cap to go back on. Great customer support, very helpful, sent me a whole new unit right away. Great optic, looks good, light, and half the price of comparable red dots.

Great red dot would highly recommend. Fit great on my ruger max 9! Came with all different size screws to make installation a breeze! Will be buying another one for my glock 43.

Took me a minute to sight it in but worked good. Got knocked around in my car and the zero wouldn’t hold. Not sure too many would.Contacted customer service explained what happened and they are sending me a new red dot. Not sure why people are complaining about them they are doing right by me. Customer service is great!Hopefully I can keep this one a little safer.Zeroing this one should be easier now that I know what I’m doing!

Triton Nautilus2 Micro Red Dot Sight for Pistol - RMSc 407K. Appears to be of good quality for the money. Nice red dot, good visibility, easy direct mounting to a PSA Micro Dagger, 120 rounds down range and so far it is holding a nice zero without variation. Wish it came in a RMR footprint for my compact RMR dagger.

Great value for the money. This is a VERY simple micro optic. No frills it just works. It's easy to zero and has a sealed baseplate with top change battery. Fits well on my S&W M&P 2.0 22 magnum. Does not interfere with function like some larger, heavier optics. I can't comment on durability yet as I just got it, threw it on and sent 250 rounds downrange. It did hold zero though.

I have learned that this company Maja very good products. After my scope I realize these Are the best to get without having to spend a few hundred dollars on one. You won't be disappointed

Awesome deal I love it

I got this optic as I really wanted the shake awake feature - it works REALLY well. Basically, by the time you pick it up, the dot is already on and active...no need to mess around with turning anything on. It also goes to sleep on it's own. The fit and mounting were spot on with no issues and alignment was perfect. So far, it has held zero really well and I haven't had to make many adjustments after several rounds. Of course - the most important item is how does it look? Cool - that's how! Great optic - glad I picked it up.

This is the second one I purchased. Love the look, feel, and construction. The accessories make it easy to install on any footprint. I have been using my other for a year now with great results. The first version does not appear to shake awake, but the battery life has been great.

The best pistol optic I have owned. Love it! All the features of the high cost ones with same quality! No malfunction keeps position.

Came with a ton of different length screws, so mounting was easy. all of the plates and adapters fit perfectly. Dialing it in and targeting was also easy. This was so lightweight it did not interfere being slide mounted on a low caliber .22. Dot is very clear and visible even in bright sun.

Fits very well. Holds zero. Shake awake. Make sure to put some blue Loctite on the base.

Quality is excellent. Triton is punching WAY above their weight class with the Nautilus. Quality felt better than a brand new holosun out of the box, for less than half of the price. I’ll be coming back for more when the RMR size is back in stock.
