View Micro compatibilityA reticle is the illuminated aiming mark in the lens. The ERD gives you a choice of a standard dot or selectable patterns.
Pattern selection changes the aiming mark; brightness changes its intensity.
Shop Nautilus2 ERDThe Nautilus2 Micro uses an open-emitter design with a compact viewing window. The Nautilus2 ERD surrounds the emitter with a protective housing to help keep dust, lint, rain and debris away from the light source. The external lenses still need routine cleaning.
No. They are related mounting patterns with differences in recoil-post geometry. The Nautilus2 Micro is offered in separate RMSc and K-Series configurations. The Nautilus2 ERD uses an RMSc mounting pattern. Confirm the exact requirements of your slide or adapter plate before choosing.
The RMSc version of the Nautilus2 Micro includes integrated rear backup sights. This feature should not be assumed for the K-Series version or the ERD. Alignment with your front sight depends on your slide and sight height.
The Nautilus2 Micro uses top-access battery loading; the Nautilus2 ERD uses a side-access battery compartment. Both let you access the battery while the optic remains mounted. Follow the instructions supplied with your specific model.
No. Multi-Reticle refers to selectable illuminated aiming patterns within the same optic. It does not change magnification. The Standard ERD uses a 3 MOA dot; the Multi-Reticle version offers selectable patterns. Final pattern previews will be added to the product page.
