RMSc MOUNTING PATTERN
Both reticle versions share the same mounting pattern. Match your exact slide or adapter plate and hardware. Browse compatible makes and models.

Reticle
Will it fit my handgun?

Standard ERD and Multi-Reticle use the same RMSc mounting pattern. Reticle selection does not change the mounting footprint.

View the full Nautilus2 handgun compatibility guide. Match your exact optics-ready model, slide cut and hardware requirements. Where mounting patterns differ, confirm the appropriate adapter plate.

What does the enclosed design protect?

The emitter sits inside a protective housing, helping shield it from dust, lint, rain and debris that could obstruct an exposed emitter. The front and rear external lens surfaces still need to be kept clean.

How does battery replacement work?

The Nautilus2 ERD uses a side-access battery compartment. Reach the compartment from the side while leaving the optic mounted.

Listed battery life is up to 50,000 hours. Brightness, movement, temperature and battery condition affect actual runtime. Follow the battery instructions supplied with your ERD.

Lifetime warranty, shipping and returns

Nautilus2 ERD is backed by Triton’s lifetime warranty.

Product graphics illustrate features. The rain scene is illustrative, and the displayed dot is not a calibrated size simulation.

The emitter is protected inside the housing, helping shield it from dust, lint, rain and debris. Keep the external lens surfaces clean for a clear view.

MULTI-RETICLE VERSION

What is Multi-Reticle?

A reticle is the illuminated aiming mark you see through the lens. Multi-Reticle lets you switch between different aiming patterns within the same enclosed optic.

Reticle selection changes the pattern. Brightness settings change how brightly it appears. Choose the version that suits your preferred sight picture.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY

Nautilus2 ERD, clearly explained.

What makes this an enclosed red dot?

The emitter sits inside a protective housing instead of being exposed. This helps shield it from dust, lint, rain and debris that could interrupt the dot. The exterior lenses still need routine cleaning.

What is Multi-Reticle?

A reticle is the illuminated aiming mark visible through the lens. Multi-Reticle lets you switch between different aiming patterns in the same optic. Brightness changes the intensity of the illumination; reticle selection changes the pattern.

The Standard ERD has a 3 MOA red dot. Choose the Multi-Reticle variant for selectable patterns. See the Multi-Reticle preview module.

Will it fit my handgun?

Both ERD reticle versions use the same RMSc mounting pattern. Browse the full Nautilus2 make/model compatibility guide below, then confirm your exact optics-ready model, slide configuration, plate and mounting hardware.

Ask Triton if you are unsure about your combination.

Will I need an adapter plate?

No adapter is needed when your slide has the matching direct-mount pattern. If your slide and optic use different mounting patterns, an appropriate adapter may be required. Follow your slide or plate manufacturer’s compatibility guidance.

How do I access the battery?

The ERD has a side-access battery compartment, allowing access while the optic remains mounted. Use the instructions supplied with your ERD for the correct battery and replacement procedure.

How do brightness and Shake Awake work?

Nautilus2 ERD has 10 brightness settings, including a daylight-rated maximum, controlled by side-mounted plus and minus buttons. Shake Awake activates illumination with movement and automatic sleep conserves power when idle.

Listed runtime is up to 50,000 hours. Actual battery life varies with brightness, movement, temperature and battery condition.

How is it protected from weather and recoil?

The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum housing is rated IP64. Its enclosed design helps protect the emitter from debris and rain, while anti-reflective and hydrophobic lens coatings help reduce glare and shed water. IP64 is not an immersion rating.

Production batches receive a batch control number and undergo recoil-simulation testing based on a .50 BMG impulse profile.

Where can I get ERD support and warranty help?
