Triton 1-6x Orion First Focal Plane FFP LPVO Rifle Scope

Mine was broke in 3 days i don’t know what happened the zoom stopped working, im sure someone can get in touch with me to get a new one, i loved it but then it stopped working

The scope broke as seen in the picture. I had no idea a scope would fail using it on a pellet gun. Was never dropped or handled badly. Optics were good just had a design flaw. Wouldn’t buy again

Scope mount screw was no threaded from factory but was still put in.. base was threaded and there was an extra screw provided thankfully. I chased threads with a tap and used extra screw and some loctite. You get what you pay for I guess. Other than that scope isn't bad at all

This is my first Triton scope, and I am seriously impressed with it. It's a high quality, very well purpose-built scope that will serve you well. It uses BDC1-F reticle, but I’d say it’s closer to a simplified Vortex’s EBR-9 MOA reticle and designed for use with 55gr .223 ammunition. This reticle is designed for the quick target acquisition in short range but can be used for medium and long range shooting as well thanks to bullet drop and windage compensation reference. Magnification can be easily adjusted between 1x and 6x by turning the ring located on the eyepiece side, featuring a small throw lever that makes life easier. Note that this is a first focal plane scope, meaning the reticle with zoom, and you increase magnification, keeping the reticle reference markings consistent! FFP for the win! Also, I need to point out that 1x is not exactly 1x. Very close, but I feel it’s still a bit different. I think it's about 1.05 to 1.1. It's close enough that you can shoot with both eyes open for about 30 seconds before your vision starts to play tricks with you. This works fine for the initial engagement, but eventually you will need to close your non-dominant (support) eye during sustained fire. It's not perfect, but for about $145 it's pretty damn good, and I have no problem using with both eyes open.The scope reticle is illuminated in red only and has 6 levels of brightness. I normally do not even consider a scope that does not have illumination because it greatly limits its usability, especially in dusk and nighttime. The reticle is etched on the glass and is very sharp. While you normally don’t illumination during the day, at the highest illumination level (6) the reticle is visible in daylight too. Note that illumination does not light up the entire reticle, only the central circle and crosshair. The brightness knob is not too stiff and quite easy to rotate. The scope has exceptionally clear optics, I did not notice any distortions even at 6x magnification, which is fantastic. Eye relief is excellent (3.55 - 4.00 inch) and ocular focus adjustment is also available on the eyepiece end of the scope, which is great. The ocular focus and magnification rings move smoothly, which tells a lot about the build quality of the scope. Windage and elevation turrets are not too large, but large enough so you can do adjustments with your fingers and are covered by screw caps. Note that the turrets do not have zero reset unfortunately, which I is okay for LVPO scope and I did not expect to have it in a low-cost scope. There are no "leashes" that attach the turret caps to the scope body, so when they are removed for adjustment, it's very easy to drop or misplace these caps.The scope comes with a single-piece out-front cantilever mount, which is surprisingly good. I noticed that cheaper scopes usually of low quality include rings that I always throw away or give away and buy a new set of quality rings that might cost you as much as the scope itself. But this time I probably will keep this mount and actually use it on my rifle. The only thing I'm missing on this mount is QD locks.Pro-tip. While the scope's reticle is fairly complex and provides guidance for elevation or windage adjustments, you still need to zero it first. Your best bet for zeroing it is to use a laser bore sighter. Just insert it into your barrel and zero your scope's crosshair on its dot. Then on a range you can finish fine-tuning your aim at 6x magnification according to the manufacturer's guidelines. This will save you tons of ammo.Bottom line:Yes, I do recommend this Triton scope to every gun enthusiast. It has crystal clear optics, magnification from 1x to 6x, which is perfect for close quarter aiming, ocular focus, and its eye relief is outstanding. The reticle is a simple yet highly effective BDC1-F, which resembles simplified Vortex’s EBR-9 MOA reticle and is perfect for quick target acquisition and short and medium range shooting. All adjustments work smoothly, turrets are hidden under the cap, but don’t have zero stop feature. Plus, it has red illumination. For 145 bucks it is a deal you can't beat, and it even comes with a solid single-piece scope mount. Definitely a 5-star product!Pros:1. Very well built overall.2. First focal plane!!!3. This is without a doubt the nicest scope I have ever owned. It is extremely well made of quality aluminum and has crystal clear optics on all settings (1-6). I haven't mounted it on my rifle yet but I'm really looking forward to sighting it in on my next trip to the range. I really like the illuminated reticle and the fact that this is specifically designed for rifles like mine. My understanding is that it will compensate for the arc of the travelling bullet at the different distance settings which will be great and the windage markings on the reticle will be very helpful also on distance shots. I did a little looking around and most scopes like this run nearly $100 more so I think this is a great deal for only $150!

We have several AR weapons so when I saw this scope I wanted to grab it. I have to say that I am impressed with how the reticle changes when you zoom, it's really quite impressive. The fact that as it zooms in and out the reticles lines stay accurate and true is a cool feature. The scope itself is solid and seems well made and also comes with a mounting bracket and rubber caps. Now the big test will be when we get it mounted and start using it. If we have issues getting it to sight in or staying sighted in, I will be sure to come back and update my review. As it is now based on first impressions only but with over forty years of experience with firearms, I feel I can give it a solid four-star review. I don't feel comfortable with five stars until it gets put through its paces however if it does stand up like I think it will than it probably deserves that fifth star.

As someone who has a $600 scope, this scope really shocked me and the fact that is also FFP!?!? Anytime I need this on a new rifle I’ll definitely take one of these no doubt!!

My rating is based off the longevity and my use of the optic. This has been mounted on my armalite m-15 and has held zero through roughly 800rds of range shooting. The glass is very clean and vivid. If you want to step into an ffp scope just to see how you will like it, I would not hesitate on this. However you choose to use the scope or depend on it is up to you

Great scope hold zero good but anything under three power you can see the end of your barrel, which makes the flash very bright in your eye

This is actually a really good budget LPVO, no issues keeps zero, I have close to 2000 rounds with it and it is holding up rather amazing, super surprised on how it's done, absolutely recommend,

Great cheap optic for a range toy rifle. There is a little bit of optic magnification at 1x. It's more like 1.3x but in general that isn't to bad.

This was the first real scope I put on my AR. Light weight and adjustability is smooth. Very easy to zero as well.

great value for the price. good glass inside and easy to make adjustments and holds zero, even tapped the scope against the table with the rifle to see if it would still hold. only issues is i wish the mount it came with made the scope lower to the barrel. not a huge issue since you can get flush scope rings.

Slapped this bad boy on top of the Ole 45-70 govt and expected to kick myself for going cheap. Boy was I in for a surprise when it stayed zeroed the entire range day (250 grain and 300 grain). Every person wanted to know what the name was, how much, and where they could get one. At 50 yds....holding a very, and I mean very, tight group.......what more could you want! Just make sure you got loctite and you are ready for some prescion shooting. 10 out of 10, will definitely buy again! And they have a x1-x10?!?!

1x is smaller than 1x but clarity, fit and function are all really good for the price point. Im impressed.

Everything that came with this scope was spot on the build quality is awesome I haven't used it yet but I don't see why it wouldn't work as best as the other ones
