Triton Mariner 1-10x24 Second Focal Plane SFP LPVO Precision Rifle Scope

The scope adds a nice one to 10 Power in a relatively compact size. Includes a Picatinny rail mount for your modern sporting rifles. Brings it up to a good eye level with a comfortable cheek weld on your stock.Plenty of screws to hold it in place and the instructions are very clear on the torque specifications which is handy. A lot of times it’s just guess and hope for the best.The Tourette’s are covered so they are not accessible while in the field, but the radicals has enough information for holdovers that you should be OK. It is securely mounted with double the amount of screws that’s probably necessary to hold this in place for a lightweight cartridge but if you’re shooting something heavy, you’ll be fine. I do like that. The radical has a very nice brightness to it and is easy to see in any conditions and while adjusting the radical brightness in between each level is zero so you can set it to zero and then click it back on when you’re ready to go Very nice featureThe optical quality of the glasses, pretty good, and I haven’t been able to get it to fog up. I’ve not used it in wet weather just temperature shocks, and it’s been fine. I do like the throw lover is extended so it’s easy to reach even with gloves on. The focus adjustment is also easy to use.I use this from ranges at 50 all the way out to 250 without any issues. If you’re a much more competent shooter, you can probably go farther with 10x than I can.Tried to get a shot of the reticle that complies with the rules so hopefully this helps describe it

A great LPVO for the money. I added this to a 16 inch barreled rifle for coyote hunting and it has performed well. Nice tactile clicks and firm optics adjustment. It gathers a better than average amount of light.

For the price you can't find a better scope.

I was a little nervous that it would be a poor optic since it has a lower price point but I took it to the range today and it performed great.Only shot from 25 yards at indoor range, but shot a 1” group with it just fine. Eye relief is great, holds zero really well, and clear picture. Taking it to outdoor range in a few weeks and I feel confident it will perform well

The rim around the eye relief is too big. I have other LPVOs that have a much less obstructive rim. Also the + reticle is too large. Too clunky of a set up so I'll be returning it.

Have the scope on a 6mm ARC AR, reticle is a little thick but still able to shoot sub 1" groups at 100yds. Didn't do any tracking tests ran it out to 250yds no problem. Hunted with it day after I received it took a 250lbs boar at 85-90yds on 4x watched him drop on the shot. 10x the eye box gets tight 1x has a little bit of fish eye but for the money Great optic. Super sunny day max illumination may be a little dim but it's pretty damn close to daylight bright. Overall great scope getting ready to order a ffp 1-10 today.....tried to add pic of the gun and hog bit it went against community guidelines.....

Overall for the money this scope seems pretty good so far. I haven't tested it thoroughly yet. Tracking was good when sighting in, time will tell if it holds zero. Only negative I see is 1× seems like it's actually negative power. Have to turn the scope to 2 - 2.5 power to get what appears to be a true 1×. Clarity is better than I expected for the price.

The illuminated reticle is an awesome feature, and the glass is very clear. Very, very similar to Vortex quality I would say. For the price, it’s a great deal and performance is very comparable to other well known expensive brands.

The weight and accuracy of this product are fantastic super easy to install and it has been a great value for the price

First the style of this scope is awesome. But more than that the fit and finish of this scope scream quality. The view through the reticle is clean and clear in a variety of light conditions. This thing zeroed in and holds steady even after my abuse. This scope is well appointed, has good eye relief and performs awesome. I have scopes that cost twice the money and this stands up to any of them.

As long as you set your expectations for this scope appropriately, it's a good scope. It's a 1 - 10x SFP LPVO, so by definition it's going to make compromises. You have a reticle that, at distance, is extremely large and covers much of your field of view. The eye box is very unforgiving. The 1x is not a true 1x, more like a 0.8x. At 10x, the edges of the things you are looking at are fuzzy. The illuminated reticle just isn't that bright.It's also a great price, comes with a mount, and if you aren't sure if an LPVO is the right style of optic for you, this is a fantastic option to dip your toes in without putting a ton of money to it, and it's certainly good enough to go hunting at moderate ranges.J.Ja

This is a second focal plane scope, so it is a little different than a first focal plane scope. This scope has the reticle marks etched before the magnifier, so the marks do not increase with zoom; a first focal plane scope's reticle will get bigger as you zoom.The glass is crystal clear; the reticle illuminates well. The wind hold marks are appreciated, as are the bullet drop ones.

It has taken me a little while to get familiar with this scope. I am not ultra experienced in this the field of rifles and scopes and am just getting into it. I would say from a newbies perspective that it is very obvious that this has many different features and attributes that will take time to learn to use and master. Basic shooting knowledge, practice and honing will be essential. For this price range you might think it simple thing to purchase and use, but I would encourage more learning and understanding. I have a friend who sights and calibrates scopes daily at his work. Their is a lot to learn on this one. It appears to be very well made and a value as well. Learning the distance it needs to be from your eye when at different focal lengths in order to see thru it clearly is one of the first lessons with it. This will require you to adjust your rifle posture slightly for the distance you are sighting. This alone will take understanding and practice to get to where it is fast and automatic. I can already see where this scope helps you to perform this process faster. The image is sharp, large and clear. So far I am really impressed with what a modern budget friendly scope can do. 5 stars.

I am loving this scope. It was easy to mount. Holds true after shooting. Can clean a few hundred yard shots easy. Clear glass. This scope checks all of the boxes and it’s under $300 which is hard to find. I have this mounted on an AR style rifle. Excellent gift idea.

I've mostly used lower end optics so I wanted to try something a little nicer without stepping up to hundreds of dollars. I got the 1-10 model.The glass is clear and the tube appears machined sturdily. The reticle is a little busy but not horribly distracting since the dots and hash marks are small and unobtrusive.The illumination is intriguing because there's an off step in between each brightness level. Max brightness is plenty bright for daylight. Note that only the main ring for the reticle is illuminated, not all the smaller dots or hash marks left/right. That is a non issue for firearms, but might make it challenging to use on a crossbow at low light beginning or end of day or on a firearm at longer ranges on a dim day.The zoom adjustment is stiff but functional. The screw in knob to help with turning the zoom ring is also a nice touch.The lifetime warranty is also good for peace of mind.There's probably things I don't know to look for since I don't have much experience with this style of scope, but I'm pleased with what i got for the price point.
