Triton Navigator 1-4x20 HD Second Focal Plane SFP LPVO Rifle Scope

Fantastic LPVO 1-4 power for $80! Mounted on a 10.5" 300 blackout pistol. Sighted in at 36 yards. First 4 rounds inside 4" circle at 7 O'clock. Moved 4 clicks up and my next shot on a silhouette was spot on.

Overall great quality but as explained in the video had hidden + and - which does not explain or advertise what it's for other than the 1-4x zoom not great for people with an stigmatism and who wear glasses for said astigmatism but also noticedthe chevron illuminated Will not let me upload the video or pictures explaining the feature that is not described and how the v is showing multiple layers must be my eyes or possible defect but for the great price you pay for overall hope it won’t be a problem

For $80, this thing is awesome. Etched glass is crisp. There are off settings between every level of brightness which is a huge plus to me. Feels well made. Glass is clear. Throw lever is def stiff, but for my purposes idc. Cantilever mount feels solid. Money well spent!

The scope appears to be very ruggedly built, maybe a little heavy for its size but that comes from the apparent effort to make it rugged . Optics are clear and bright and I had no trouble adjusting the scope for my farsightedness . The current caps are large and easy to remove . The turrets are also large and the numbers are easy to read, when I first tried to adjust the scope the torrents were very, very difficult to move but loosened up after I worked them for a while. The scope mount fit the Pinckney Rail on my G3 perfectly, the scope mount looks like a Weaver mount but it is much heavier so if you want to mount the scope on a gun with Weaver rail you will need to buy some 1-in Weaver rings . The lit reticle seems to work great in all lighting situations and I really like the inverted chevron for an Aiming point. So far it's been a great little scope and you certainly can't beat the price. I've been happy with the scope and I have no problem recommending it.

The Triton Navigator 1-4X variable power scope is a value proposition considering the performance and low-ish cost. The scope's ED glass is very clear and allows a lot of light through to the eyepiece with no internal reflections unless pointed within a couple degrees of a light source. Image focusing is done with the eyepiece ring. Crosshair contrast is excellent as is the horseshow ring and stadia lines for distance shooting. The internal red illumination is applied to the inverted horseshoe and the chevron aim point. The 10 illumination values are appropriate for everything from darkness to mid-day lighting. Spring-loaded flip-up lens covers are included but can be removed if desired. Mounting hardware and wrenches are included along with a well-built scope mount.In use, the focus ring is smooth but stiff and will not wander off on its own. I really like the internal sight illumination switch design that features an "off" position between each gradation of lighting intensity. The well-knurled turret caps remove easily and stay secure when tightened. The turrets turn with a very positive click and there is no guess work whether an adjustment has been made. The 2nd focal plane design results in a magnification of only the target and not the sight crosshairs. The result is that horseshoe and stadia marks do not stay the same size relative to the target (see photos). This presents a challenge when sighting in a weapon for longer distances because the stadia marks change with every magnification change. I recommend setting a favorite magnification and do the sighting and distance shooting from that one setting. All-up weight with the mounting bracket is 1lb 2 ounces. I wish I could deduct a star for the 2nd focal plane limitations but being fair, that is part of the design for this budget-friendly scope. Overall, I really like this scope and will be mounting it permanently.

This rifle scope and mount is the Navigator by Triton which was priced at $100 when ordered. I was quite happy with the quality of this scope at this price. The sealed body and lens quality are features I would expect on a more expensive scope. The aluminum machining was also well done, especially with the knurling. The adjustment knobs had a stiff precise feel to them which I liked very much. I prefer a higher magnification than 4x, but given how compact this scope is, and the small 20mm diameter, the 4x is good enough.The included monoblock mount was also well done. It feels more rugged, durable and mates better to the scope than a two piece ring system. Attachment at the pic rail had an excellent fit and all the screws threaded neatly. This is a really nice mount.I like the chevron reticle with christmas tree. When zeroed for closer targets, the christmas tree makes consistent drop and windage adjustments easier. The circle about the chevron, and the chevron itself light up red when the rotary switch is used. There are 6 brightness settings with off positioned between each setting. In case you forget to turn the light off, they included an extra CR2032 battery.I definitely prefer the flip up lens covers to removable ones, but the ring grasping the tube was a bit loose. When flipping them up, they sometimes slip off the scope, but are easily put back on.Overall this is a great scope with mount combo for the money.

I mounted this 1-4x scope on my AR-15 build and it has quickly become one of my favorite optics. It delivers true 1x magnification, which makes close-range shooting feel like using a red dot. At 4x, the clarity and precision are excellent, allowing me to stretch out to 300 or even 400 yards with confidence. The magnification ring turns smoothly, and the image stays crisp throughout the entire range.The Triton ED glass stands out. It offers impressive clarity, great light transmission, and true color representation. I’ve used it in early morning light and on cloudy days, and it still performs incredibly well. Even at a distance, spotting and identifying targets is easy.The illuminated reticle is well designed for both speed and precision. The chevron center lets me aim quickly, and the bold outer circle helps with fast target transitions. It works well in bright and low light, and since the reticle is etched, it stays visible even without illumination.The build quality is solid. The scope feels rugged and well-constructed. It has held up to rain, dust, and recoil without any issues. The argon purging has prevented any fogging, even with temperature shifts. The scope feels like it can handle real field use.One thing I did notice is that the windage and elevation knobs are a bit stiff out of the box. They click cleanly and hold adjustments well, but they require more force than I expected. It is not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. They might loosen slightly with more use.The BDC reticle is dialed in for .223 and works well for my AR platform. The holdover points matched up nicely at the range, and I appreciate the added windage dots for compensating during crosswind shots.All around, this is an excellent LPVO for anyone building or upgrading an AR-15. It offers clear optics, a smart reticle design, and a tough build that holds up under use. Even with slightly stiff turrets, the performance more than makes up for it. Highly recommended.

Rifle optics are expensive; you can easily spend more on a good scope than you did on the rifle, and for some things-defensive use, serious hunting-that makes perfect sense.For guns that are just 'range toys', however, that can be unrealistically expensive. What you need for those guns is a scope that's clear (actually 'bad' scopes aren't fun for anything) and holds zero, along with standing up to a mild form of use. This scope is perfect for that use; it's got nice, bright glass, a clearly marked reticle and very bright and adjustable illuminated reticle. It zooms smoothly, and it's clear even on 4x magnification.A budget scope that's actually pleasant to shoot with is a rarity; one this sturdy and with a mount included at this price is REALLY rare. Great buy!

Have a ar 10. Like the illuminated reticle. Zoom is decent for a not big named brand scope. Not heavy. Decent quality and easy to use .

Excellent product for the money amazing clarity have not beat it up to test durability but don't plan to Great eye relief worth double the price right up there with the vortex would not hesitate as this is my second or third one I recommend them to everyone

Despite changing the battery scope hasn't worked. Disappointing. Won't buy Triton in the future.

I bought this cheap LPVO to see if I even liked one. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to reflex sight. Great quality, easy mounting, great value.

Well made; absolutely awesome! This scope went on a m-4 .22 rifle, and has made plinking incredible! My satisfaction cannot be overstated!! No need to spend big $$$.

Amazing best bang for your buck

WOW. I was not expecting the clarity it has. In 40+ years of shooting, I have bought soooo many scopes, from budget no name to high end $1,000. I would put this in the class of a $100-200 scope for clarity. What many people don’t know is nowadays a lot of the scopes manufacturers outsource from the same factories overseas and just have their name put on it. The clarity is right up there with my Burris. I like that it came with a solid cantilever mount and lens caps. You don’t typically get either on the high end scopes. It was easy to set up and zero. It took 8 shots and 2 were because I couldn’t see where I hit and had to shoot again. eye relief was good enough. You don’t typically put this type of scope on a magnum rifle so eye relief is not a big factor for this scope. As far as the negatives, 1, the brightest adjustment is VERY stiff on mine and 2, the lens caps will slide off with the smallest bump. Easy fix on the lens caps with some electricians tape. I still give it 5 start and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a LPVO scope at a good price.

very good second focal plane lpvo at a budget price. clear optics and comes with mount. magnification ring moves smoothly. Not as good as my primary arms lpvo which cost 6 times as much .Would recommend to anyone looking for a good lpvo. plus triton offers a life time warranty

It's nice and crisp but I don't understand why it's more expensive than the one that zooms 6x

Very good scope for my AR9

Very impressed with this scope. Clear glass, reticle is nice and crisp even at highest setting. Install was simple, good zoom for what it is, and a great vaule for the money. Looks great in top of my 300blk setup. Very pleased with it.

Nice scope. Quick to sight in. Only shot it a dozen times with 7.62x39. Seems like it will be fine.

Haven't had a chance to mount, zero and live fire with it yet. But, first impressions are good. From everything I've seen so far, this is the best value for the money I've gotten out of an optic.Love that you can illuminate the reticle between every click while sighting it. Very bright when illuminated.One 1x, can use both eyes open aiming, which I also love. Situational awareness is valuable.
