the optic is as described however it arrives in the wrong SLEEVE - the optic is FIRST focal plane - not 2nd like it incorrectly says on the outer box sleeve and in another reviewotherwise it's totally fine. the illuminated reticle is rather dim and there's very little difference between each settingthe glass is impressive for this price pointthe lowest power end of the magnification is pretty zoomed in - maybe even closer to a 2x than a true 1xi didn't find the orientation lines to be as much of a game-changer as other reviewers did, but it was nice to haveeyebox is pretty forgiving at low magnification but gets rather tight when 4x or greateroverall there's no major flaws, it would not be exciting lined up next to high-end lpvos, but at this price-point it's an excellent deal

I want to start off by saying this is a badass optic! I’ve never used an LPVO before but I love the versatility of it. It’s a great hybrid between a red dot and a scope. My only complaints are that it doesn’t have flip up lens covers and for some reason when the reticle is at its brightest setting, the entire field of view is red. I also noticed this happens only when I’m looking through the scope at a dark backdrop. It started doing this the day after I received it. I returned it for a replacement in the hopes it was just this particular optic that is doing this. Perhaps the brightest setting is too bright in some instances. Regardless I really like thus LPVO.

This is a decent budget LPVO that has an interesting feature set, and the result is this scope is most effective at close to medium ranges or very large targets. Some features of the scope are great, some are puzzling, and some design choices hold this product back. I'm hoping that if Triton updates the BDC reticle for this, it gives it a finer aiming point.The included cantilever scope mount is awesome. Triton has painted white lines on the body of the scope so that you can simply level the scope intuitively without needing any outside tools. This is an amazing feature that I wish more companies would adopt. This whole mount and leveling system, included in the box, is very good.In real life, the glass quality on this scope is just fine for this price point. In daylight, the image brightness seems good. As you can see in the pictures, the BDC1F reticle covers the target at long ranges.The vast majority of 1-6x LPVOs are "second focal plane", and have a generic BDC reticle, maybe for ranging or a few hold markers for long range shots. For whatever reason, the Triton Navigator+ is "FIRST focal plane", so the reticle gets larger as you zoom the magnification. This LPVO has a pretty serviceable 1x. I don't really know how to judge the 1x magnification, but the outer ring of the reticle and the large plus seem to give it enough to be usable at 1x.My main issue with this scope is the size of the main aiming point of the reticle when zoomed in to 6x. Usually when you have a first focal plane scope, the reticle zooms in and reveals a different, very precise, small, fine aiming point at maximum magnification. Unfortunately, the BDC1F reticle on this scope does not do that. So what starts on 1x zoom as a small crosshair, ends up on 6x zoom as a huge, gigantic thick cross that covers a major portion of the target at range. I suppose the one saving grace, which you can see in the photos, is that the BDC crosshairs are about half as thick as the main reticle. However, the instructions say that the BDC reticle goes "from 400 to 900 yards" which means that you can't use this slightly finer aiming point until 400 yards. At 400 yards, your target is going to be really small, so then I would want an even finer aiming point.There is also an issue with the illumination. At max brightness, there is a dazzling speckle pattern, all over the sight picture. When looking through the scope during bright day time (when illumination is not needed) the speckle pattern is not noticeable. When looking through the scope in a dark setting (when illumination is definitely needed) the speckle pattern is most noticeable.If Triton fixed both the illumination speckling issue and the overly large reticle covering the target at range, then this would be a superb budget LPVO package.

This LPVO was excellent for the price! Was very easy to install in minutes, the 1-6 magnifier was great, the radical was nice and bright! Very easy to use and adjust the settings to however you prefer! Used it for the first time yesterday, and I was very pleased with my groupings!

this was the second one I bought... the first one was perfectly fine, but the second one came with a strong reflection of red light inside that blocks the view . I believe it happened because of dusty assembly line . who knows ?I request a replacement and I hope I will get nice one .its very nice scope for the price , that's why I'm buying it again .--------------------EDITED UPDATE :I got the 3-rd one today . because so far it is the best I would say .I'm manufacturer myself and as technical person who knows all the challenges along a product from design to shipping the product and I know all the hard work that manufacturers do to give out a good product out to customers , while they try even harder specially at this economy crisis time to make it more affordable for everyone...So I appreciate this company for their excellent job and support .So I switch my 4 star to 5+ star for their fast and caring support .So dismiss my posted previous picture that I left for review attention only and that small issue is gone now , I will recommend this scope to anyone who wants to have a really clear sight with precision . Go ahead with confidence .

When the product arrived, it was shipped in a manufactured/model specific box clearly marked "Second Focal Plane" even though the product description clearly states this is a First Focal Plane. Before opening the box, I contacted Customer Service who instructed me to check it's actual focal condition. Sure enough, upon opening the box and rotating the power lever, that reticle moved/enlarged as it should have. A clear FFP in a SFP-labeled box! (The body of the scope is also marked "FFP". See attached photo.) The quality and finish of the product is FIRST RATE. I haven't mounted it to the firearm yet nor taken it to the range, but from what I see/feel, this is a very high quality product for this price point. I am very pleased.For anyone curious about country of origin, the internet says ALL Triton products are made in the USA. However, the packaging on this unit says: "Designed in the UNITED STATES. Just get it.Have one on my 10/22 and holds zero perfectly, the build quality is fantastic! I love that it has actual turrets instead of just a cap with a slot for adjustments. Crystal clear glass. Simple installation with lines on the sides to help level the scope. The brightness is intense on high, I find 1-2 is more than enough 99% of the time.Value for money is absolutely there. You’re not gonna find a better FFP for anywhere near this price point.Don’t listen to the elitist scope guys. Just get it, you wont regret it.

Just received the Triton Navigator + and am extremely impressed! Without repeating what others have said in their reviews (because the positive comments and descriptions are reiterated by me) this optic hits all the marks for quality. The only thing I decided to add was a different mount which had a picatinny rail because I wanted the addition of a red dot for quick target acquisition at short range.If you want a cheaper option to the LPVO offerings but don't want to sacrifice quality look no further!

I have a .308 AR platformed rifle that I use for east coast forest hunting. Triton’s Navigator+ LPVO, low power variable optic, scope was what I needed to supplement my aging eyesight. A plus is that this scope came with a mounting base and scope cover. I’ll use the 1 to 2 power settings for quick target acquisition when hunting on foot and the scope’s higher 4 to 6 power settings when shooting across an open field from a deer stand.FFP reticle scopes, those in which the reticle is located within the first focal plane of a scope’s multiple lenses, never worked well for me on higher magnification scopes. I found that the reticle crosshairs were so large at higher powers that they obliterated some of the target’s detail, thus preventing precision shot placement.That’s not true for lower-power range FFP scopes. Triton’s 1–6 power LPVO is a sweet magnification range that makes good use of its FFP reticle. The crosshairs are large enough to quickly be seen at their lowest range and are not too large to obfuscate target details at the ranges being hunted in Atlantic coast forests. Also, the crosshairs remained centered on the target no matter what my eye’s vision angle was. The lenses on the scope I received were clear, with no noticeable light dispersion.Triton’s Navigator is a lighted reticle scope. Its illumination knob has 12 stops despite having six intensity settings. Each of the numbered light settings has a zero setting in between allowing the shooter to quickly get back to a favored setting from a light-off position without needing to progress through the scope’s six brightness levels. The brightest setting seemed to blur the scope’s reticle lines, however.Being about 1¼ inches wide, the scope’s elevation and windage turrets are easily adjusted with gloved hands. The knobs are pulled up for click adjustment and pushed back down to lock the setting. While I don’t intend to mess with the factory’s reticle settings, its zero position can be customized. A coin is used to unscrew the turret giving the shooter access to the reticle for changing the turret’s zero setting. The instructions for doing so are on Triton’s website.The scope’s magnification lever is a little stiff. While I prefer stiffness rather than looseness, its magnification range is not impossible to adjust. I was able to do so with my thumb while holding the rifle at the ready position. The lever’s stiffness just slows down progress across the scope’s magnification range.Coming in at 1 pound 1.5 ounces and 1 pound and 6.5 ounces with the base, the scope does add weight to a rifle. Fortunately, that weight, located on the receiver, is centered between the shooter’s two hands, both located equidistance front and back, serving to support the rifle. Its added weight helps lessen the gun’s felt recoil.As with most quality scope manufacturers, Triton provides a lifetime guarantee. I’ve found that warranties are honored without much quibbling in the shooting sports industry. Triton’s lifetime warranty further adds to its scope’s value.

You get the scope, a cantilever mount, a hex key, scope cover, and a cleaning cloth. Not a bad deal.The scope weighs 1.21 lbs, making a pretty stout proposition. The turrets are 1/2 Minute of Angle (MOA) in adjustment. the eye box is pretty tight on 6X, but isn't horrible. The reticle is clear. The center is a +, not a donut like in other scopes. There are two lateral lines, one on each side of the scope that make leveling it in the mount a snap - I wish more scopes had this feature.The included mount is secured to the Picatinney rail using three screws instead of the two used on other mounts.The manual is available via a QR code.it comes with a warning card stating the 25 yards is the minimum distance to zero the scope for.the only reason for not giving this 5 stars was the weight.all in all, it is a good deal for the price.

Excellent little scope for the money. I put it on my HK 416 22 and, while it took a good bit of adjustment to get it zeroed, it does a great job!

Great LPVO for the money. Sitting on top.of a tacticool 30-30 and works great. Adjustments are 1/2 MOA, but still good for short range. Held zero without issue. Reticle is nice and bright. Not sure how it will hold up to a hard recoiling rifle, but should work fine on most Semi-auto sporting rifles and PCCs.

Great scope it's above its weight quality exceeds the price

So ima give this 5 stars for the simple reason that you cant beat the price, ive run about 800 rounds of 5.56 and kind of beat this guy up a little bit at the range and its held zero. Price to entry for an LPVO if you have no idea if you want to go this route is great. Won't break the bank and functions great. I'll will say its not all good, the eye relief is not as advertised. Eye relief in the max position is best used from a fixed or prone position and not idea for on the move. I may update my review in another 800 rounds. Thinking about putting this on a lever action with a bit more kick to see how it dose with stronger recoil.

Obviously this isn’t the highest quality optic in the world, but for under a hundred bucks? It’s fantastic.Tossed it on my .22 and has held zero for thousands of rounds, being bumped around, and being left in the back of the car.5/5 would recommend.

An inexpensive 1" diameter tube LPVO basic optic; adjust magnification 1x to 6x works OK.Comes with mount. Do not know durability or shock zero hold. Airsoft
