I’m currently using it on an AR10 and I have found that it works best when used like a magnifier behind my a red dot. Image quality day and night is surprisingly good. I had no experience with Triton optics before but for the price I felt taking a chance on it was worth it. That chance so far has paid off. After a couple of hundred rnds it is still functioning perfectly. Video quality is also surprisingly good, I have been quite happy overall.

As a Professional Marksman and Competition Firearms Team Member as well as an Avid Hunter I obviously work with a Wide Variety of Tactical Gear including Night Vision Scopes! This StarStrikeX Night Vision Scope from Triton is absolutely Amazing!!First of all let's talk about the amazing build quality of this unit! First of all it's made of an excellent Aluminum Alloy Metal Chassis with excellent water proof seals!! The unit is finished with an excellent Black Powder Coat which gives the unit a very polished and excellent look!!!I also wanted to point out this kit comes very well appointed! It obviously comes with the night vision scope, two batteries that are rechargeable, a USB to USBC charging cord, a hex key, mounting screws, a Micro SD Card and microfiber cloth! As you can tell they provide you with everything in order to mount this securely to your rifle!In terms of the performance of this product I have to say that it is excellent! I was in a room and placed a Listerine bottle 25 ft away in the dark! I turned on the infrared feature of this night vision scope and was able to basically read the label right off the Listerine bottle in the dark! Therefore I can say this product works exceptionally well! The actual Clarity of the image from 25 ft away in the dark truly amazed me!Also I am absolutely surprised at how cost-effective this night vision scope is as well! I've seen other night vision scopes out in the market that costs almost double this amount and don't even have the same performance! Therefore you're getting an absolutely fantastic night vision scope for your rifle at a super cost-effective price!Based on my review of this product I think it is absolutely fantastic and definitely a cost-effective solution for adding night vision to your rifle! Therefore I am rating this product five stars!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Its more like a 2-5x its definitely not a 1-6x as stated. The quality of resolution on the screen is AMAZING for a budget night vision.Took a minute to figure out the button controls but once you do its soo simple you will never forget it.It takes (1) 18650 battery and the cap to remove them felt super clean compared to other battery caps that felt rougher.Ir light is decent especially outside for further distances. Inside it did seem a little too bright. On that note I Highly Recommend going to the settings & turn screen brightness to eco.Sd card & 2 rechargeable batteries included and it came with a very nice quality charging cable.WILL DEFINITELY BE BUYING ANOTHER

I’ve only used this camera for a couple of hours, and while it has some cool features, it claims to have a 1X–6X zoom range. However, I would estimate the actual zoom range to be more like 2X–2.5X. Additionally, the screen is quite small, making it difficult to read anything on it, even with my excellent vision.On the positive side, it captures great video during the day, but I haven’t had the chance to test it at night. I was hoping for a much better scope that actually zoomed as advertised, but I suppose you get what you pay for.Another issue is that the scope/camera is larger and heavier than I had anticipated. It would have been better if they had made the screen bigger so that I could at least read the screen’s content.As for battery life and durability, I haven’t had the opportunity to test those features yet. However, it’s quite challenging to focus on the screen to achieve a clear image.My biggest complaint, though, is the zoom range. Going from 1X to 6X zoom, the difference is barely noticeable, which is frustrating.

super clear if you aren't right op on something, the focusing is great, and its pretty simple after you get used to it. it is super durable and has decent range. the brightness level is fully adjustable. for the price, the battery lasts quite a while. overall, this it a great affordable night vision optic.

This thing is so awesome I could knock off the wings of a fly! I personally don't care for the recording but, the thermal is awesome and even the standard view has good lighting at night I'm an enthusiast so I modified my mount slightly to fit my needs but it's a solid piece.... not gonna lie,, I love Triton scopes, I would definitely get all Triton scopes on all my firearms,,, p.s. yes I'm kissing rear so I may be a valued customer lmao

I will always recommend this to the people that are interested in nv but are on a budget. For it to be a budget nv its very well built and robust. This is coming from someone that is prior military and is use to dealing with older inferior nv optics.

I am a fan of Triton Optics. I own two of their Tempest scopes. 6-24x50 & 4-16×50. Excellent scopes for the money. Unfortunately this Starstrike 1-6 had a major issue. It would not focus no matter where the focus wheel was. It would get close but was always fuzzy to extremely blurry.The overall build quality seems really good just like their scopes. I really just wanted to exchange it for another one thinking that maybe I just got a dud. That was not an option. I have to ship it to Indianapolis and it will 14 to 30 days before I get my money back.That has left a bad taste in my mouth. Again, I am a big fan of their scopes. Just feeling a little let down with this product.

The lenses were not included like they were supposed to be!

This night vision LPVO optic surprised me with how versatile it feels for both day and low-light shooting. The 1-6x magnification makes it easy to switch from quick close-range shots to more precise shots without fumbling around. It’s solidly built and the night vision capability really stands out once the light starts to fade. I’ve been impressed that it holds zero well and stays clear in changing conditions. A nice choice if you want one optic that does a bit of everything.

Scope is awesome for the money you can’t beat it at all if your hunting within 100yrd it’s perfect I currently have it on a crossbow for pigs at night and it’s a game changer defiantly will purchase again!

I have some Bushnell I guess Gen 1 NV and this optics blows it away.Key here is experimenting with all the controls under varying conditions and ramping full ranges to see, and record, the effects.This a solid build with good controls and features. I used it to the edge of woods on my property and this was clear in the open areas and into the woods. I spotted something low like a raccoon or porcupine about 50 years into the woods for a total distance of 100 yards. The adjustments are pretty intuitive and comfortable to access.My only hesitancy and this is for all optics with a good size battery and spring loaded aluminum body and cap is to be very careful not to cross thread. Gentle until you get proper alignment, adequate force against the spring and carefully thread it in. It works but I like steel better.

For what its costs it works fine in open areas. However, its not as easy to see in vegitated areas.

First thing I will suggest...keep it on "IR Off" and use your own 940nm flashlight. The built-in IR is about 850nm and the ir/led is very noticeable to our eyes.Image/screen quality is good especially for the price. Multiple reticle options and the build quality is pretty good.Comes with 2 18650 batteries and you can either charge them internally with the USB c port on the side of the unit or if you have a standalone battery charger.Overall I think it works pretty good and easy to switch day/night mode and very easy to change magnification.Just wish it didn't have a built in IR light so that it doesn't stand so tall. Especially it being 850nm.

Image quality on IR is horrible and shines like a flash light exposing the shooter
